Tony-

Same computer and Win-7 (except it's Home Premium) here and Logic runs
perfectly. I had to install it on the new machine using my original 2006 CD
and it loaded fine, then I updated to the latest 8.0.104 update. I also
copied the various screens such as backgrounds, reports and log data from
the old computer so I didn't have to reconfigure anything. I've always let
LOGic load wherever the default suggests, which is on the root directory.
That's unconventional now and doesn't put data under the User directory. I
like the default because it's easier to keep track of your data when it's
all in one place and your backup programs usually won't back up the Program
Files (x86) directory.

I use Logic 8.0.100. I have not updated in awhile. I am planing to use a new
computer
and Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. will the latest update aloow this?
If not what will I have to do.
