Not sure about a single keystroke, but {Ctrl+G} (get) then {Enter} or
click OK.

You opened the CW Keyer window somehow. When you do this the first time,
this form appears:
Simply click Cancel, then close the Keyer form so it won't ask every
time you start LOGic.
Is this what you are seeing? If not, pse send me a screen shot.

I have never seen a process that can't be killed. In the task manager,
right-click LOGIc 8 (in the Applications pane), then click GO TO
PROCESS. Then right-click again and END PROCESS TREE.
