Dennis, it plugs into the DSP-100 port on the side of the radio. This port is
ACC1.
Look on page 74 of the insruction manual for the pinouts.
There also is a External Control manual for the 450/690 that is seperate from
the Instruction manual. I would think it would be on the Kenwood site also.
This manual also has the pinouts and goes into more detail on the comms
between the radio and whatever is controlling it.

I have a homebrew level converter plugged into my 450 and it works perfectly.

Subject: [LOGic] TS-450s question

Hi--

Can anyone tell me where the level converter plugs into the Kenwood TS-450?

I have been told ACC1. But  I downloaded a 450/690 manual, and on page
23  It shows an ACC2, which implies an ACC1. But there is no ACC1 in
this diagram.

Does it plug into DSP2 or DSP3 per chance?

Thanks in advance,

Dennis
