[LOGic] Problems with V8.0.98

You didn't say what version of Windows you are running... However, if you're
running Windows Vista or Windows 7, something might have changed in v8.0.98
that now requires administrator-level file accesses. I would try changing
the executable properties (on logic8.exe) to run as Administrator, and if
that doesn't clear it up, try running logic8.exe in a compatibility mode
with an earlier Windows version -- all available from the Properties >>
Compatibility path when you right-click on the executable. Just a suggestion
to try, not a tested cure.

I'm running v8.0.97 on Windows 7 64-bit, and think I'll leave it at 97 for
the time being, until this is cleared up. :-) Let us know what you figure
out. BTW, in order to get this version (97) to run on Windows 7 64-bit, I
had to configure the logic8.exe properties to run it as Administrator and in
Windows 2000 compatibility mode. (Windows XP compatibility mode would
probably have worked, too; I didn't try it.)
