Logic runs fine here under Win 7 64 bit. Because of Win 7 file
virtualization, I recommend you install it to the LOGIC default of c:\Logic.
If you put it in Program Files or Program Files X86 other issues may arise.

In my 64-bit machine, I found that LOGic 8 needs to be run as an
Administrator under Windows 7. You might try this:
Right-click on the shortcut icon and select Properties, then click the
Compatibility tab. Check the "Run as Administrator" checkbox (towards the
bottom of the dialog box), close it, and try launching LOGic again. (That
was all I needed to do to get it to run on my system.)
If it still doesn't launch correctly, try adding a compatibility mode with
an earlier version of Windows (same dialog box).
Some combination of these compatibility attributes should allow it to run
properly. If not, then you have some kind of weird condition there.
