Hi Dennis. Merry Christmas to you and family.

If you were not aware, Icom finally got the message. The latest 7800 
software update includes commands to query the Split status as well as 
some new features. I would expect similar updates for the 7700, 7600 & 
7200 as well as future Icoms. It would allow for significant improvement 
of the Icom driver.
