[LOGic] DOK Award

Hi Bill. I agree with you and I certainly would like to have a much better working knowledge of the Fox Pro commands. About all I can do now is some simple mass changes and some conditional alert settings. I probably use less than 50 percent of Logic's capabilities. I started with Logic5 and now using Logic8. A few times along the way I just gave up using Logic but I finally learned enough to be comfortable with the program. My comment about the solutions coming from Dennis and not many from the group was just my experience with the group. I can remember twice that solutions did come from the group and those were appreciated. It seems that there is a good knowledge base out there among the users but as you mentioned it is limited to the basic operation of the program. Maybe Dennis will post a good HELP file on writing PRG files for LOGic. Thanks for the note. 73 de Joe.

I won't argue with this assertion, though I think it is arguable. Be that as
it may, I think this group would come up with a lot MORE solutions if Dennis
could take the time to put together some comprehensive written Help on
writing PRG files (programs) for LOGic in Visual FoxPro. There are a lot of
special VFP commands and routines that Dennis uses in LOGic that really
aren't documented anywhere -- not that I have found, anyway.
If I'm missing something that's accessible, I would be very appreciative of
any pointers to where this information can be found. I would love to get
more deeply into customizing LOGic and not relying only upon Dennis to solve
special problems.
