Glad things went well for Fe.
re eQSL... if I may express an opinion.
I would stop extracting data for a few reasons.
1. It's questionable if one really should given that there is a paid
service available.
2. It's a pain in the ahem! to have to keep messing with the program to
support it.
3. It's of questionable value. I, for one, am irritated by guys who on
CW or particularly digital modes refer to me by the name on the qrz.com
site rather than the one I just sent in the text of my message. What's
the point of me sending it? I just don't understand the point of pulling
data from QRZ.com other than a double check which just requires a glance
at the site... the pictures are nice. Just display the site...
4. If he really wanted to prevent programmatic extraction of data, he
simply has to rasterize it like Buckmaster... he may, eventually... I
would ;-) So all this effort is just buying time.
