[LOGic] Logic 8 Function Key Messages

I am using the F keys to send some CW messages.  I am used to being able 
to hit ESC or tap the key to stop the CW message.  Am I missing 
something is is the only way to stop a message is to click on "CANCEL" 
in the keyer window?
