Craig, I don't know what support you get from other vendors...but I CAN tell you Dennis' support was fantastic.  I had a problem, and he spent some time with me on the phone.  When that didn't give him enough information to help cure my problem, he did a NetMeeting with me to find out what was going on.  He fixed the issue in a few minutes.  And that was on a Sunday night!  You can't beat that support--and he did it at no charge!

That assistance bought a lot of loyalty from me.

I have been following this thread and related ones for a couple of years.
It is apparent that Dennis is preoccupied with more important matters than
Logic.

So I checked into other software. I chose DXLab. It is free and updated
continuously. It is modular with a digital modes interface.

What is it missing?

I will try to find something....

What does it have that Logic does not have?

Choice of sound cards...you can use the USB sound devices currently on the
market like microKeyer.

You can mark your qsls submitted and then verified so that you can
automatically select cards for submission to DXCC.

It can use DM780 or its own built in WinWarbler digital interface.

You can easily set up multiple radios and switch between them without any
interface issues. I use 7800, 7700 and K3. Also, you can use the
microKeyer SO2R commands and switch radios on the keyboard!!

There are very active hams using it and it is updated continuously by the
author who is an active ham.

Check out the Yahoo reflector and see for yourself or just download it. It
only took me a couple of days to switch logs and update the verified to my
ARRL records.

I am upset that I paid for Logic and the DXLabs is free...but time to move
on.
