Dennis:
Here's a suggestion for LOGic9. How about including a small terminal
application? This would allow direct querying and control of certain station
accessories. Examples would include communication with my Alpha 9500, my
SteppIR controller, and my USB-controlled AC power strip (used to control
power to station when operated from a remote location). Right now, I'm
running XP on my computer, so I use Hyperterminal for these functions. It
would be nice, however, to be able to have an applet within LOGic that could
be left as a small, open window. (Note: Hyperterminal has been eliminated
from Vista, so one has to load a non-native terminal program if Vista is the
operating system. (There's a free downloadable version of Hyperterminal on
the internet, but I haven't tried it on my Vista machines.)
