[LOGic] Updated Call/Country list suggestion

A WEEKLY update service for LOGic users can easily and quickly be
accomplished in several ways:

1. Have someone 'volunteer' to do it and post weekly to a subscription
list (for free or at a small annual fee);

2. Make arrangements with an existing service to have it posted on the
LOGic web site on a regular basis for download (either free or by
subscription);

3.       Add your suggestion....

I doubt that anyone would be willing to do it for free... so, an 'update
subscription service' for a small fee would be a workable solution.

Several years ago I was posting regular updates to Dennis, but we both were
laden with higher priority tasks, so it didn't continue.

So, I can speak with some authority as to the effort required...and I don't
think that the dozen or so hours that are required to keep it updated per
week would be offered 'for free' by any of the users or from Dennis (he
still has to make a living!).

Possibly an enthusiastic member with about 12 hours a week available might
be persuaded to take on the task/responsibility (and deal with criticism for
not getting it 100% correct all the time)...

Some of the tasks required would be: subscribe to and monitor all the DX
news lists...gather all new data...compile into LOGic format..post to
subscriber list...maintain database of subscribers...check if subscriber is
financial...post to subscribers...answer email inquiries...etc...

Let's ask the forum members...

A. Any volunteers? (for free or for fee)

B.      Expressions of interest in joining a fee subscription service;

C. How much would you be willing to pay? (possibly...US$1 per week
payable annually, or ??)

If enough interest in a fee subscription service is expressed, then I would
consider doing it again if no one else offers to do it...

But, it would also require permission from Dennis and his initial help in
setting it up...
