Undoubtedly... I'm not quite sure if the problems were the drives
themselves, or the PCI to SATA card, but the drives have been working fine
so far...

Found it!!!

It apparently does not like SATA CD Rom drives (or at least the two that
I
have that are dissimilar models)for the purpose of entering the key
code..
Anyway, I connected a standard IDE drive and it worked fine...

Who'd a thunk it...

On one drive it eventually pops out the CD, but nothing else, it still
shows
non-responding and I have to shut down windows wioth the power button
for it
to do anything. 

I am using SATA CD drives, perhaps I'll try a regular IDE drive.

After you enter the serial number, if it hangs hit the eject button on
the cd drive and it should continue.

Attempting to install Logic on a new Machine. When I attempt to put in
the
serial number, it just hangs for several minutes. Dashes were included.

Tried:

Running as administrator
Using different CD ROM


I have to totally reboot to get out of it...

Anyone else have a problem like this??
