[LOGic] Com port locks up still

Hello folks:

Well, Mel, I thought I might have finally gotten beyond all this, but this
evening the com port talking to the radio just quit working. The frequency
in Logic just froze. Attempting to do a reset of the radio in Logic gave the
same time out message - POLLING DISABLED: 0 characters in buffer. This again
required a reboot of the computer to regain com port function. This is with
a fresh install of Logic 8 with update to .79.

Nuts ! My choice right now is to simply manually enter the frequency data
when this happens until I can reboot the computer. This has never happened
prior to my updating. Now, I have not stayed diligent in upgrading as new
items come along so I'm not sure where the problem was entered. I was
running just fine at .57. That's a lot of updates back. I do notice that
when I restart the program after a reboot, my Telnet window needs to be
restarted for DX spots.

Do you think Dennis will see this or do I need to separately send him a note
?
