Until now ;-)

It was far worse in the beginning. It was the same when XP/NT first came
out. In time it will sort itself out.

BTW, there are good reasons to dislike Microsoft... not all technical.

That "proves" the problem is Logic? There are others using Logic with
the same or similar setup as you are using and it's working fine... so
that "proves" it's not Logic... or does it? If you had a serial port on
your computer I'm sure it would work... that would "prove" that the
problem is Microham... remember, that USB port is supposed to be
emulating a generic COM port. Logic was written to work with COM ports
not USB ports.

It's a pointless exercise! If you can't get it to work in your
installation you will have discuss a resolution directly with Dennis.

If you did get it to work, your feedback might be helpful in tracking
down exactly where the incompatibility exists. It can be very difficult,
near impossible, to debug an issue you can't duplicate on your own hardware.

Good luck in any case. If you do get your money back, you can always try
the Logic demo later to see if the issue is resolved.

BTW there is one other possible solution I might suggest to Dennis. He
already supports a DDE interface to TRX manager which bypasses Logic's
own COM routines. I'm sure he could support Dave's Commander or Alex's
Omi-rig engines the same way with just a little bit of coding.
