Stan,

I have the exact same setup as you with the Pro 3, but using Microham Keyer
with USB too. The only difference in your configuration and mine is in
Logic. I have both DTR and RTS checked under rig control.

Give it a try.

Mel
Interface= Microham USB II
Version : USB device Router 5.1.1 - the latest version available at
Microham website
Radio= Icom Pro III, Ci-V baud rate 19200, CI-V address 6Eh, Ci-V
transceive On, Ci-V transceive with IC-731 off

Microham USB device router Set up:
Radio Com1, CW Com5 DTR, PTT Com5 RTS, SQL none

This setup works flawlessly with over a dozen programs I have tried in
the last 2 years.

Logic 8 goes into transmit when I load the program. Also goes into
transmit when I access and exit the Rig setup menu. Also goes into
transmit when I access certain other
menus like Utilitys. Only way to get it out of transmit is to remove
the interface USB plug and re-insert. In Logic 8 I have radio1 setup as
Icom all, com1, 19200 2 stop bits Addr 6Eh, DTR and RTS not checked.

I dont have the CW keying setup in LOgic right now. Logic sends very
poor CW, it stutters and sometimes shortens dits or dahs. I been using
Mixw to send CW , since it sends perfectly. Mixw 2 uses the Com 3 port
and is not setup for the rig control. I have tried running Logic 8 by
itself thinking maybe MIXW was interfering but this is not the case.

I have tried other different setups both in Logic and the Device router
with same results.

Thanks
Stan K9IUQ
