Look under the drop down menus, not sure which one, maybe "data".

Hi Doug and tks.....sri to say that I can't find anything on the toolbar
that gives me "import from text." I can see the ADIF file but of course
it's not in the order that the Excel wants. I know I'm missing
something, just don't know what.

In Excel, do a data import from text. You may have to change
the file type to "all" in order to see your file. When you do the
import, tell Excel to import as "fixed width", not as comma delimited.
ADIF is just a text file with the data arranged in a certain order so
all the different logging programs put things in the correct spots.

I know I'm showing a bit of ignorance here but need some info.
How do I send my ADIF of the 2008 DX Marathon log to the Exel file
showing the CQ format? I have saved the 2008 log to my desktop but now
what?
