[LOGic] 2 RIGS IN LOGIC

Dan,

Several others have commented already, but here is my bit!  With a kenwood
and a yaesu you will need two ports, one for each radio.  You can use two
native serial ports on your mother board (assuming you have them!), serial
ports on an expansion board, USB to serial converters etc.  I have
successfully used all of the above at one time or another.  I have heard
that some individuals have had problems with serial ports on lap top
computers.  Personally, I have never used Logic on a lap top, so I have no
first hand experience.  Currently, I use one native serial port connected to
a CI-V interface for my IC746 and a USB to serial converter connected to my
Elecraft K2.  Both work well.  My computer is an old generic AMD running
Windows XP.
