Thanks, Rich.  I appreciate the info on your Vista experience with some of your ham radio programs.  Well, this cheapo computer is an HP, so it's not a fly-by-night sort of brand name.  It's obviously not their top of the line, but I think it should do OK as my ham shack computer.
