[LOGic] multiple rig interfaces

I have an Icom 756 pro3 and an icom 706 attached to a home made ct-17 and I
am able

To poll both radios just fine but if I click on a button to change frequency
on eithier rig it starts to change and if I hold it down to 

Change it faster I get a timeout which requires a rig/rotor reset. Baud rate
is high as it will go at 19200 8N2

 

Like the buffer gets full and overflows then I get an error.

 

Both rigs are on one com port with the interface.

 

Is there a way to ignore the overflow errors
