Dan, you beat me to the posting. I have the same question. I tried
entering FJ as the DXCC entity and FJ/OH2AM as the prefix, figuing this
would be a temporary (at least) fix. It works when you enter the full
callsign in the log, but this obviously isn't a permanent solution. I'm not
sure that the FJ prefix should be removed from St. Martin, since I don't
know whether that prefix will still be used for St. Martin and the Leeward
Islands as well as for St. Barthelemy.
As a practical matter, it sure is irrelevant to me tonight from the west
coast. I can hear him just fine, but the pileup is one of the biggest messes
I've ever encountered. People aren't listening at all, just throwing out
their calls endlessly. The number of people who are on the wrong VFO is
staggering, and the policemen are out in force. There's even been jamming
going on. It's really disgraceful. I've given up until things settle down to
more like the usual DX pileup. I'm sure there'll be lots of opportunity to
work the new entity in the days, weeks and months to come.
