[LOGic] Digital Modes and Logic

I use MixW. It works with Logic more or less but there are many issues and
it is awkward stopping and starting Logic. I finally decided the best way
was to use MixW stand-alone and transfer the digital QSOs via ADIF every few
weeks.

I, too, prefer MixW with Logic and it would appear to be the best
marriage since MixW tends to keep up with new mode development. Now,
as in my case, try running a satellite tracker, MixW, and Logic
without hosing data! If only we could be sure all pertinent data was
being transferred and processed.
As in the days when Dennis prodded developers toward ADIF, we really
need the ham-based developers to collectively incorporate interfaces
that work across different apps. Try demo's for satellite tracking
sometime and try to figure out just what rotor controller you need.
Each app favors only a few of the available controllers and / or
interfaces.
DDE worIks for many applications but the user is left figure out how
to make it work. I just switched to a MacBook. Boy, am I a glutton for
punishment!
