[LOGic] Internet data bases refuse to update

I had the same problem, Doug. I know it was IE7 causing it because when I
switched to Firefox, everything worked properly. Don't know the cure,
because I prefer Firefox to IE anyway - just imported my bookmarks and
decided not to use IE. I had originally talked to Dennis, thinking it was a
problem with LOGic, but after I realized the problem hadn't started until
after I upgraded to IE7, I discovered that was the problem.

Subject: [LOGic] Internet data bases refuse to update

Update to my earlier post, complaining that, after updating to Internet
Explorer 7, Logic 8, version 8.0.59, won't process updates to its various
Internet lists. I have now tried each and every one, and most do indeed
update. However, the following will no and cause the program to "hang":
3905 Century Club, Smirk, Omiss, Countyhunters. Each starts go through the
steps the others seem to follow, but then it hangs up the program. You can't
exit the list screen, cannot close that screen and cannot shut down Logic.
Depending on what you're trying to do to get out of the locked up
subprogram, the following error messages show up: "Cannot quit Visual Fox
Pro." "Import _____NAME OF LIST, SUCH AS Smirk/3905, etc ____ gethttp, line
45" "error 2059", "error 1951", "cannot clear the object IE1 because it is
in use."

Any help would be appreciated.
Doug, W7ZZ
