The user field values (entries) are in the database - makes no difference
the version. If you entered them in some LOGic version, the data is there.
What you probably need to do is to activate the user fields in your log
form. Doing this allows you to see the user fields, which in turn allows you
to see each user field's value for a given record.
If you saved your log form in LOGic7 it's as simple as copying the form from
your 7 directory to 8. Take a look in help for user fields - it shows
details on unlocking your log form and enabling your user fields - given you
decide not to use your old form. My old 7 log form was just fine in 8.

Subject: [LOGic] LOGic 7 to 8 USER Field Values Transfer
This is a question about something I did when I upgraded from LOGic 6 to 7,
but now can't remember when upgrading from 7 to 8. How do I transfer my user
fields and their values from one program to the other? Can anybody point me
in the right direction here? Thanks.

Carl
