" Though LOTW is a confusing mess to begin with"
Ahh, you are kidding, right? Actually I'm kidding you! I agree, LoTW is
more than a confusing mess - it is a glowing example of how to take part of
a HOBBY and turn it into a business in a bureaucratic fashion. The
certificates issue is a JOKE - the FCC trusts us with 10 year term ham radio
licenses, but LoTW certs are 1 year. ARRL needs to remind itself THIS IS A
HOBBY! Dennis has done a pretty good job of easing the LoTW pain in the
A$$.
I dread come certificate renewal time!

Subject: [LOGic] LOTW Problem LOGic 8
For some reason I can't upload QSOs to the LOTW with LOGic 8. It was
working fine with LOGic 7. I have newly renewed certs installed on my
computer. However, at the end of the upload steps in LOGic it asks for
location, and I put in Home QTH, then it asks for the password I used when I
created the certs. I put in the password and it says password error. But,
when I use the Trusted QSL program itself and load the certs, it accepts the
same password. Anyone else have this problem? Though LOTW is a confusing
mess to begin with, I did have it all figured out and it was working
smoothly in the previous version of LOGic. Help would be appreciated.
73,
Carl
