[LOGic] MORE LOGIC 8 CONVERSION ISSUES

Hi Carl...

Didn't mean to jump on you for your suggestion, sorry if I came across as a
butthead.

OK, you make your point, and perhaps I will try System Restore (I also use a
utility called "Go Back", which is a bit more flexible than the Microsoft
offering).

However, LOGIC upgrades always are rather painful for me...the end results
are ultimately worth the effort and expense, but the road does have some
bumps and potholes.

I am still hoping to find some fixes to my problems without doing a System
Restore or GoBack...I have often found that doing "restores" compounds a
problem, as I have done so much trial & error to fix a problem, that a
"restore" erases some of the "good work" which I have performed!

Anyway, thanks for answering my call...we'll see how things go!

Well from time to time do something that I can't figure out what the heck I
did I use the system restore to go back one day and it restores what I have
hosed up without losing any info I have just added. For example lets use
your situation...

You were playing with transparency and some of the on-desktop tricks,
and the default log screen is now inaccessible!

The first thing I would do if I could not get it back or figure out what I
did would use the system restore feature and go back to the previous restore
point (yesterday) or if I know that I am going to be messin around or adding
a program I "create a restore point" then if things not go as planned I can
use system restore to save my butt hihi.

Just open it and look at it's self explanatory and easy to use and quick...
Keeps your blood pressure down :o)

I thought it would help
