I'm sorry. I must have been overtired when I when I wrote my
earlier message. The solution to the problem as set forth
therein is relatively simple.
Just pick up the contents of the DXCC field!
My real concern is how to handle the situation when there
is a QSL manager involved. His/her call is in the VIA field
and it's his/her country code I would like to put on my QSL
label, so hopefully the card doesn't get bounced from one
country to another before it gets to the QSL manager..
It would involve a lookup in the PREFIX TABLE and there
must be a way to do that because it can be done on
screen using the INFO form but I don't know the
syntax for the underlying function which
accomplishes that wonderful feat.
My earlier message is set forth below for any who missed it.

My station is in Israel.
Our outgoing QSL manager requests that QSL cards sent through the
bureau be sorted by country (US to be further sorted by district).
I would like to put a field in my LOGic prepared QSL labels which
reveals the country CODE. In other words, if I prepare
labels going to "4Z1XYZ" and "4Z2XYZ" and "4Z5XY", I would like to
have "4X" to appear on each of these labels. (2E0XYZ, SP6XYZ AND
M0XYZ should all show G )
Can any tell how to do this?
Shalom from, to and for Israel
Mike
