I've been using Logic5, 6 and just ordered Logic7 yesterday, but I'm no
expert, but I'll give it a shot.
More below....

After you tell Logic to print your labels you are asked if you want to mark
those records as sent. You have the option of yes or no.

Tracking submitted cards
LOGic keeps track of which cards have been submitted for an award. For each
award, enter a unique identifier in the comment field. Put a colon after the
identifier. For example, DXCCSUB: or WASSUB: When the report writer prints a
progress report, it will search for a submitted QSO for each entity.
Do not make separate submitted tags for each band and mode. A card has
either been submitted for an award or it hasn't. In other words, if a 20M CW
card has been submitted for mixed, it doesn't have to be resubmitted for 20M
or CW.
There is no special QSL status for submitted cards, since the same card may
be submitted for multiple awards.
LOGic has user-defined fields already set up for QSL Sent Date and QSL Rcvd
Date. Enable them if you wish to record this data.

I don't think it will matter here if you have an entity fulfulled with LOTW
or a physical card. The country is either unconfirmed or confirmed (by
either a card or LOTW). I beleive the report you want here is called
AWARDS. Do a filter that sets the QSL_RCVD to F so the report only pulls
entities with a confirmed contact (by either a card or LOTW).
Maybe some one else will chime in here as I have never made a submission to
the ARRL. I have 305 countries confirmed with qsl cards and another 2 or 3
that have been confirmed by LOTW.
I just ordered Logic7 to take advantage of the LOTW features.
