Hi Carl,
Though I've not used any of the PSK31 apps, other than MixW, for some
time I remember them as simple apps with no frills. Dennis' inclusion of
a Hamscope connection probably serves the need since one can have LOGic
and Hamscope open in two windows on the desktop anyway. While a seamless
PSK31 form similar to the existing TNC and CW windows would be great for
most users I like MixW's flexibility and would prefer a reliable
interface to it.

That said, there is valid argument that MixW may equal, or surpass,
LOGic in the near future as most of the common general logging app
features exist in MixW, i..e contest logging, a strong macro structure,
eQSL interface, etc. With addition of award tracking and a few other
features MixW could easily become my primary logging system. I suspect
other apps that initially were simple digital mode apps have evolved as
well. It's probably easier to add database functions to these than it is
to start with the database app and add the digital mode generators.
Times are changing and you can keep adding to an old, but good, idea
only for so long.
