[Logic] Wish List: LOGic Direct Interface with eQSL

Hi Carl...

As an eQSL user, as well as LOTW, I can see that there would be value is
automating the upload process. However, I don=92t see much point in
importing the eQSL status to Logic since the "standalone" awards are
tracked on eQSL. It's not the same as LotW where it is necessary to
merge QSL status from LotW with other confirmation methods to arrive at
DXCC status. So perhaps Dennis could look at uploading to eQSL for ver
8. He has to keep something in reserve to justify the next upgrade ;-)

While were on the subject of "wishes for ver 8"... How about displaying
spots in a "Bandmap" such as in Writelog or CT... That's a terrific
feture that I miss every time I switch back to Logic after the contest!

You don't "buy the awards," but can purchase plaques that display the=20
awards in a classy fashion. eQSL has some pretty good security features

(not mil spec like LOTW), and it is a very reputable outfit. When I=20
started this thread my intent was not to start a flame about eQSL but to

simply ask if others would like this feature added to a future version=20
of LOGic. The consensus seems to be, with a few vocal opponents, that=20
it wouldn't hurt to add it for those who would use it. This number=20
seems to be a minority -- but a goodly number -- of LOGic users. I hope

that Dennis is listening. Thanks everybody for your response.
