[LOGic] NAME info from membership lists: To log or not to log?

All,

Dennis just released a build of the software that makes it possible to
disable a recently-added feature -- though, to be honest, I was initially
convinced it had to be a bug. :-) The feature is that a NAME contained in
any membership list you have activated (like SMIRK, in my case) would
override the NAME provided by any other look-up database (FCC, QRZ, etc.) or
by the previous QSO with that station. Anyway, I didn't much like it, and
now I don't have to have it! Thanks, Dennis.

So: If you don't like the recent LOGic behavior of supplying the Log form
NAME from whatever membership lists you have turned on, DOWNLOAD the current
update, and go to Tools >> Setup >> Log Fields... On the Memberships tab,
clear the new checkbox there labeled "Log Membership Name?" (it defaults to
CHECKED=YES) and things will revert to the way they used to work.

Just an aside about Dennis and LOGic 7: Several people have asked me on the
air (6M SSB) over the past month what logging software I was using, as they
noticed how effortlessly I handled pileups (yes, pileups on a guy in
Albuquerque!), knew instantly where somebody was, when we last worked, what
his name was, and so on. I was always proud to tell them about LOGic.

Dennis's support of his software is nonpareil, and he deserves all the kudos
we can give him. Thanks again, Dennis.
