This just changes the physical width of the box on the log form. The number of
characters you can put in the field will remain the same. You DO have to set up
the maximum number of characters for this field.

- Go to Tools >> Setup >> Log fields, ...

- From the Log Fields browse window, scroll down and select QSLMSG.

- On the Field Info tab above, change Width to the desired number of characters.

- If you want upper/lower case type to be allowed in this field, UNcheck the
Upshift box.

- Close the Log Fields dialog box.

Now you can size the physical field on the Log form as described by Xavier. But
you don't really have to do this. In the Control Properties dialog box, there is
a checkbox called "Automatic". If you check this (or just leave it checked,
which is the default, I believe), the size of the QSLMSG window onscreen will
automatically follow the maximum characters setting you just changed.

I did this myself, as I print this string on my QSL cards and wanted more
characters available to me.

Hope this helps --
