Okay Mel,

I agree its an improvement, but would have liked it to still be fitted to a
single row.

Well funny you mentioned the button on/off option and frequency display
ideas. Just the other night I was trying to get myself ready for the 2005
contest season and while watching my stuffed screen area it got me thinking
back about all the comments I had last year regarding rig control (like not
being able to have multiple rigs work with a single logform).

I like the idea (in lieu of multiple rig-to-single logform) of being able to
optionally display the buttons and will let him know.

There must be some way to achieve the multiple rig control w/single
logform.........but maybe we beat that one to death last year.

I'll try the Icom plus" driver but as it doesnt recognize the sub for split
it would not work for my needs.

Thanks,

73 de N8GLS, Brad

Actually it's an "improvement"... IF you use the buttons...

What I've asked Dennis for before is the option to turn off all the buttons
and just keep the frequency display, or put a frequency display panel on
each log form. I find the control buttons useless... If you want to "remote"
the radio you need all the controls... And he has a product for that...
Otherwise, if you are using the radio's own controls, the buttons are just a
waste of screen real-estate. If others feel the same way... Let him know.
He'll never change it if I'm the only one who would like to see that change
made...
