I do... But others don't... I didn't pose the original question. However I
do sympathize with inexperienced users trying to understand XP security.
BTW, I tried the instructions I sent to Lee here on my own machine and Logic
now works fine for any local user... Of course any local user can now
clobber the Logic installation... The down side.
However I had forgotten to mention that he has to turn off Control Panel -
Folders - View - Simple File sharing... Thanks for the reminder!
It's forgetting details like that that which confuse explanations...
Yes I have a quite lot of experience with older versions of Windows... But I
am fairly new to XP...
