Why don't you just give that limited user "Full" access to the Logic folder.
That may resolve some of the access permission problems you are
experiencing.

Subject: [Logic] Logic 7 and Win XP

I just installed Logic 7 as a "privileged" user ("regular" users don't
seem to be able to install software). Seemed to work fine under that
account.

Following the install, I switched back to my regular user and the first
oddity I noted was that Logic did not appear on the Start menu. I went
through the process of adding it, then encountered an error:

Error 111 "Cannot update the cursor LOG, since it is read-only," has
occurred in program DATAFORM.ADD_REC, line 62.

when I first tried to add a logged contact.

Do I need to un-install, then re-install as my "normal" user? I didn't
find anything about special instructions for Windows XP users in the
included manual, on-line help, or the web site.
