[Logic] How do I add a mode?

Hi Bob

I have been through this with Dennis a few months ago as I was having the
exact same problem!! There is however a fix although it is a several stage
process. Do the following in this order.

1. Make a backup (Don't miss this step. Really!!!!) 
2. Default mode size is 5 BPSK31 is 6 characters long. Change to 6 by
..Tools..Misc Utilities,...Change size of log fields...click Y to
proceed....Change size of mode field from 5 to 6 then save and exit.

3. Go to Tools...Setup...Modes...Add BPSK31 Under ADIF put PSK31 for LoTW to
accept. Fill in the other fields which are straight forward.

I think this will solve it for you Bob.

I have recently begun using MixW on PSK31 -- in conjunction with Logic7.

MixW wants to automatically log the mode as BPSK31 -- something that Logic7
does not seem to like.

I added BPSK31 as a mode in the Tools Menu, and it now seems to accept it,
but then when the record is saved, the mode field is emptied, instead of
showing BPSK31.

Nevertheless, the BPSK31 seems to have been saved, because when I upload my
file to LoTW -- it is reported as an error.

Can someone help me unravel all of this?  My present fix is to manually
change the BPSK31 entry to PSK31.  But this is the 21st Century -- I am not
supposed to have to do that!
