When you run a back-up, the process generates a temporal file in a folder of
the system, then it copies the file to the root of the HD with the name
LOGBACKUP5.PDABACKUP.

The problems lies in the temporal file, try to delete all temporal files run
as this:

- Open My PC folder

- Select the HD with one left click, and now with left click select
Propierties'

- Click on the button 'To release disc space'

- After some minutes, clic on 'Accept' to release the temporal files

I hope this work

Hi Amry:

Thanks will try again my log has over 40000 entries and it used to back up

fine on a Zip drive and on my D-drive.

The program does not seem to make the "logbackup5.pdabackup" folder.

I have tried to use the floppies, did not work either, still get the "backup

compression failed" followed by 'nesting error'

I also made the folder myself and directed the BU to same, the results are

as before.

May PEACE be with you
