[Logic] SERIAL PORT ERROR?

Kelsye thanks for your comments.

If I was doing a lot of fancy things with serial ports and programs, I'd go
along with your comments, but the hamshack PC doesn't change (except for
Logic 7, haha!) and there are no other users of the serial port.

The shack PC is running Xp and I could do a system restore, and might do so,
but was looking for the silver bullet from this reflector before doing
Microsoft time travel.
