I don't have version 7 so I cannot be sure of how it works. My guess is that
you can set the firewall correctly. Most likely, Logic is acting as a server
and or needs an outgoing connection. In any case I am sure careful
examination of the NIS manual will allow you to correctly configure the
firewall. A better way would be to switch to Zone Alarm which is much easier
to set and probably a better firewall and it is free.
