Hello all

I am in the final stages of making Logic 7 the primary logging
version. Version 6 is still there just in case. I have copied over
the log, forms and reports and all went well.

There are a few things that don't transfer well and had to be handled
manually. I have six User Defined fields that had to be entered
manally in thier proper place. Since I do a lot of mobile contacts I
have a whole second set of highly modified county names that had to be
exported from Logic 6 Lists of Valid values, but that export/import
worked well also.

Alas, I am sad to see that the rig interface with the Yaesu FT-1000MP
still will not read the active communicating frequency. It insists on
reading the last active VFO frequency and not a memory frequency, if
that is the one in use. Very distracting and prone to logging errors
when trying to use the memory channels.

Now on to bigger and better adventures in L7. Lots of new features to
play with. Next will be setting the Callbook lookup. According to the
video included on the disk it will be a whizbang feature!

Good luck.
