I don't have the problem with the Telnet Window that you're describing. Mine pops up right where I left it every time. I also don't get spurious countries and my mouse works just fine. I have on rare occasions had the program hang up while using the callbook lookup option. I've also had it hang up at odd times too (not frequently). I'm running Windows XP.

What is "clear type" font smoothing?  If it's something that makes the fonts better looking on the labels of the logging window, I'd love to know more about it.
