Dennis, RSGB has a windows program for submiting for the IOTA Award called
Iotamem4win. It will import information from logging programs as a UPF file.
Can LOGic create a UPF file?
The Iotamem4win program can be downloaded at
http://www.rsgbiota.org/downloads.php4
This is from the program help file:
Import data from logbook
To import your worked or confirmed islands to the database you should have
an UPF file generated by your logbook program.
This file should be an ASCII format file with the following information:
<IOTA-REF><one ore more blanks><CALL><one ore more blanks><COMMENT><CR><LF>
Example:
AF-006 VQ9WM Diego Garcia Island
AF-007 D68UY Comoro Islands
AF-008 FT5WF Crozet Islands
AF-009 FR5ZU/E Europa Island
AF-010 3C1TR Bioco (Fernando Poo) Island
AF-034 DELETED
AF-035 NONE Farquhar Islands
AN-003 VK0IR Heard Island
Entries in the CALL column containing NONE or DELETED will be ignored. If
there are more than one entry for a reference only the first one will be
imported.
To import the data just click on menue item 5 (Import UPF).
After giving the filename of the UPF file you are asked to decide how the
entries shall be handled. There are two import modes:
1. "Worked"
Import only if current status in the database is "-" (not worked)
2. "Claim"
Import only if current status in the database is either "-" (not worked) or
"W" (worked)
