[Logic] Batch database routine (userfields)

I cannot figure out how to do a batch database change when a userfield is 
involved.

I have added a  logical field call "eQSL" . ( would like to put a "Y" 
(checkmark) in that field if certain conditions exist.

I have had no problems in doing batch routines when nothing but 
non-userfields are involved.

I guess what is throwing me is when setting up the parameters for a mass 
change and I am asked for a field name, the only choice seems to be 
"userfields" with no way to specify which one..

I am sure there must be a way to "specify which one" and I just don't know 
how..
