[Logic] Can't use mouse to edit field in Main Log

I am completely befuddled.  When entering or editing a QSO I can't select a 
field with my mouse.  I have to Tab through the fields to select the 
correct field to change an entry.

In addition the application often freezes my machine and I can't even Ctrl 
Alt Del to boot again.

This trouble seems to have started when I set up Logic to work with MixW 
but I no longer have MixW selected in the Log menu.

Anyone got an idea?
