[Logic] LOTW software upgrade to 1.07 necessary?

Good question Art !!!
I was just getting ready to ask the SAME question to the League !!!

After re-reading the LoTW Web Page thrice, MY question is:

Why in heck couldn't the League simply have added JUST one more line to their notice
about V1.07, "Like just install V1.07 over V1.06 and that is all that is necessary to
update, there is no interaction in the update" !!!

Instead they leave ALL of us HANGING, trying to figure out what to do !!!

I'm scratching my head and my backside both at the same time over this one !!!

This whole LoTW thing has been PLAGUED by this type of POOR INSTRUCTIONS.

I honestly can't see how LoTW is ever going to succeed with the semi computer literate
ARRL user.  I think that the League has found a way to get rid of all of a good portion
of the "Money Draining Life Members" by converting to them SK status using the LoTW
instructions !!!
