The Logic interface for Icom does not poll... I've spoken to Dennis and
he has promised to address this soon.
The only way to use Logic with Icom at present is to enable tranceive...
But that will cause mode/frequency changes with one radio to affect the
other...
Actually, when using 1 radio on a bus with or without accessories, the
transceive mode is the preferred way to operate as the frequency
updating is just about real time. It is a problem when trying to operate
2 independent radios on the same bus.
For the time being, you can use another level converter... They are
available for about $50 on the Hosenose site, and they work fine. I have
one radio on the CT17 and the other on the W1GEE unit.
BTW, there are other issues with the Icom drivers at present... A number
of bugs, especially setting split operation with spots. I've brought
them to the attention of Dennis, and I think he will address them
shortly.
