[Logic] How do I integrate a membership database?

Hi
Actually, I use PowerBuilder which is a front end to about a gazillion
database engines. It uses ODBC drivers to connect to anything from Access to
Oracle9i. It has handy data input and output functions that are similar to
Excel spreadsheets but also allows rigorous SQL scripts to be run.
One trouble with this is that it borders on programming which means there is
a good possibility of trashing data. One simple "update lists set xxx = yyy"
and all your data is gone.
The other thing is that using work arounds may prevent the development of
worthwhile functions in the future. TRLog has a very nice feature where you
can load calls, 1010 numbers, VP numbers, FISTS numbers etc. and have them
brought up. I implemented this in my version of Logic 5 but it really is
something that people should send to Dennis as a request. If enough people
do, it will probably get added as a feature and eliminate funky tricks.
BTW - I've seen older editions of PowerBuilder go for 10 - 20 bucks on eBay.
