Bill,
Interesting technique and all good suggestions.
One thing I want to mention to the group is the usefulness of "update
qsl sent.prg" under tools->misc utilities. Often times, even after I
print out cards/labels, it still takes me a few days (or longer) to
finally get a shipment out the door as it takes time
peeling-and-sticking labels, etc. What I do is even after printing
out cards or labels, I click "No" to *not* change the QSL_SENT="R"
flag to "F" and to record the QSLSDATE. When I finally ship cards
out, I use "update qsl sent.prg" to update this information for me
with the latest date. Thus, QSLSDATE truly reflects the date I sent
out the card and not necessarily the date I printed the card. This
utility as far as I can tell came with LOGic 6. I can't remember it
being there with LOGic 5, but maybe it's there and I never noticed it.
In any case, another way of doing the same thing is to just reprint
(to screen) the cards/labels on the date you finally ship and then
selecting "Yes" to update the QSLSDATE info. Either way works.
