Carl, you're not the only only ticked at the Leagues wasting money on LOTW=
when EQSL
does the same job just as well and easier. I afraid it's another case of=
"My Way or the
Highway" mind set of the League.
I've been a League member for almost all of my 32 years as a Ham and have=
seen quite
a few things they did to get me steamed up !!! I won't list them all or I=
would be
accused of "League Bashing" Hi Hi.
My number one complaint right after LOTW is that this is the second year in=
a row that
they have messed up my membership. I had renewed via phone both years and=
they got it
wrong. So now I find out that I'm not a member and they are trying to get=
me to re-up.
Maybe I'll just wait a bit now that I have an option.

easier, quicker and just as well authenticated as LOTW. The only reason=
the ARRL won't accept eQSL cards is that they have too much invested in the=
LOTW. I'm a ARRL member and have been for years. I won't cancel my=
membership over this issue, but nothing has made me more angry toward the=
League that I can remember. I had a good discussion at Dayton about this=
with some of the principals and the ARRL's position simply does not hold up=
to close scrutiny!
