Hi,
Skip, W5GAI pointed out that duping wasn't working correctly with the
cqww vhf logform that I made yesterday. My mistake. Sorry about
that. An updated logform is available at
www.ke9r.com/ab4rl/cqww-vhf.zip (also .exe and .rar)
Basically for those interested, add the expression LEFT(GRID,4) to
both "copy from previous qso's" and "duping" under Log->Setup.
However note too that if you're using this logform and working a
(previously worked) rover station in a new grid, LOGic will initially
think the new qso is a dupe. This is because it's bringing forward
the old call and old grid. Ignore the warning message and type in the
new grid and log the qso. The alternative is that LOGic won't check
for dupes until you've filled in both the old call and old grid - and
this is the way my initial logform was set up - but since most
stations are NOT rover stations, you might as well have LOGic do the
dupe checking at the beginning and not the end. I hope this makes
some sense...
Anyway, enjoy.
